There is a huge impact on performance related to shooting the gun, that seems to be new.
After a few shots fired at a wall (with nothing behind it), the framerate drops from stable 60 to 20 or less for the duration of the decals, or other related entity spawned, to disappear.

Test in wireframe mode.
It seems thsi has been resolved for now?
